The Rotary Club of Elkhorn invites you to their annual pancake breakfast at Elkhorn Area Middle School, Saturday, November 5, 8 a.m. - noon. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit EASD music programs. Your $10 ticket can be purchased at the door on November 5, or at the EASD 1887 Building, the Chamber of Commerce, or Friends on the Square. See you there!

EASD and the Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services will host Dr. Greg Hudnall in the James A Wehner Auditorium at Elkhorn Area High School on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 7 p.m. All families and community members are invited to his presentation, “What We Know and What We Don’t Know About Youth Suicide.” Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Hudnall will present the latest research on youth suicide. He will also discuss the things to say and not to say to struggling youth. Please come with questions. Thank you to everyone who signed up to volunteer on Saturday for the Great Give Back. Unfortunately, we have made the tough decision to postpone the event. The EAHS Student Council invites you to a community Halloween celebration! This annual FREE extravaganza includes: Game, Activities, Trick or Treating, Food, and a Haunted House! Children turning three, born between July 1 and December 31, 2019, are invited to our November 14, 2022, party. In addition to celebrating, we will be offering developmental screenings to help identify whether your child is meeting appropriate milestones for their age in the areas of speech/communication, personal-social development, motor coordination, and early concepts. A hearing and vision screening will also be offered. A second 3-year-old birthday party will be offered in Spring on March 8, 2023, for toddlers turning 3 born on or after January 1, 2020. -- ¡Estás invitado! Thank you Shaklee Cares! Aaron Gottschalk, Elkhorn alumnus and representative of Shaklee Cares, presented a check recently to the EASD Education Foundation from proceeds made while parking cars during the fair. Aaron has been a great supporter of EASD and the community. The Elkhorn Area School District Education Foundation (EASDEF) is a nonprofit, independent organization that connects the community and Elkhorn Area School District schools to inspire and enhance the educational experience of our students. Through charitable donations gifted by community members and businesses, the EASDEF is able to provide schools with their greatest needs, support educator creativity, and grow endowment funds to enable future giving.
